Dr. Prajnanika প্রজ্ঞানিকা Gurung is a Gynecologist, Infertility and IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)specialist and a gynaec laproscopic and hysteroscopic surgeon. She has a profound expertise in these fields. She did her MBBS from NRS Medical College, Kolkata. She then pursued her post graduation studies from the premier institute, AIIMS, New Delhi and completed her MD (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and then Senior Residency from the same.

Dr. Prajnanika served as Assistant Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at AIIMS, Patna and was insrtrumental in setting up the department at par with standards of AIIMS. She then joined Indira IVF, Kolkata as the Chief Infertility specialist. She is currently working as Consultant Reproductive Medicine and surgeon at Genome, The Fertility Centre and Bhagirathi Neotia.

She is member of various national and international societies. Her special fields of interest are invitro fertilization, reproductive endocrinology, endoscopic surgery. Her research interest include PCOD, endometriosis, reproductive surgery and invitro fertilisation.

She believes in making fertility management simple and accessible to the patients. Her perfectionism and patient centric approach has helped her quickly gain vast experience as well as support in this field.
